The Career Services office assists with career development, job placement, support services and community referrals. It also assists low-income people in acquiring, maintaining and improving their employment situation.

Services are free

In 2002 opportunities Unlimited (OPS) helped over 378 individuals make the transition from welfare-to-work. Training for independent living teaches skills and attitudes for retention in the work place, while involving the whole family, including the children. 3458 individuals received related employment referral and counseling services. Job training and classes in English and Spanish are ways the road is made smoother to reach out and lend a hand to man, woman or child to succeed.
