The Salvation Army reaches out to others. In times of emergency or disaster, The Salvation Amry is there ready to serve with food, equipment and counselors. The Army was at ground zero providing meals, grief counseling and monetary support to families following the tragic events of September 11. This reflef effort is still going on. In Orange County, The Salvation Army is on ready alert in case there is an emergency. Our facilities are designed to provide assistance when there is a need.

In Southern California, The Salvation Army's services include a home for unwed
mothers, a missing persons bureau, a residence for destitute AIDS victims, prison
visitations, food pantries, assisted living homes and English as a second language classes.
