The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center and the Women's Residence helped 1649 men and 148 women during the year. Treating the whole person towards recovery from drug and alcohol addiction - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual components are part of the process. The ARC rehabilitation program is the only one with a work therapy component. The Army's rehabilitation success rate is one of the highest among all recovery programs. The program has no cost to the beneficiaries because of generous support from community leaders, donors and donated items sold in the 15 Thrift Stores located throughout Orange County.
