The Salvation Army League of Mercy, Anaheim Red Shield adult swimming program and Home League offered 14,022 seniors with fellowship and friendship. Seniors were visited by League of Mercy volunteers in their homes, in 22 hospitals and in retirement homes, distributing lotion, slippers, magazines and other useful items. Seniors build their physical strength and relieve the pain of arthritis at the Anaheim Red Shield's high temperature swimming pool. Seniors make long lasting friendships at Home League meetings, a ministry where spiritual strengths are built. The Home League does many projects as an involvement and outreach in the community.
We are grateful for the many seniors who give of their time and talent in support of Salvation Army programs throughout the year.
